It’s time for some Lynyrd Skynyrd

This classic rock song was written by guitarists Ed King & Gary Rossington, with vocalist Ronnie Van Zant as a response to Neil Young’s “Southern Man.” The pair were never rivals, just fans of each others work and good friends.
