We’re starting with the Main Event! Times for the WWE Championship match.

A.J. Styles (c) vs. Dean Ambrose vs. John Cena World Championship

First the 3 come out and now.. PAUSE. It’s a video package! Oy Vey. What shittastic timing. Then we move into the official Main Event styled intros. Crowd is lit up. This is smart timing with the Presidential Debate looming tonight a lot of kids are getting that remote pulled out of their filthy little hands.

Match starts. All three trading offensive attempts into a triple clothesline dropping them all. Ambrose definitely the early aggressor here. As we keep going everyone is getting a turn but AJ always seems to be one step ahead at this point.

Good match so far, a lot of good spots. If you want a move by move style play-by-play there are plenty of wrestling news sites out there. I’m here to give you the feel and fun of the show đŸ™‚

Crowd is hot and I don’t blame them. Main Event match to start the night. Sucks for anyone stuck in traffic or on the toilet pre-show that didn’t know! We’re starting to trade pinfalls, submissions, and featured moves. It’s getting wild and this is a hard to look at the computer to type kind of match. Loving this. AJ with a beautiful reversal on Cena into a Calf Crusher.

Double submission on AJ and the bell rings. The ref decides to continue the match. Ambrose reverses an AA for a DDT. AJ pulls the ref out of the ring. Cena hits an Avalanche AA off the 2nd rope to Ambrose and then AJ comes in the ring and levels Cena with a chair for the 1-2-3.

Winner and STILL World Champion: A.J. Styles

Nikki Bella vs. Carmella

They’re saying Becky can’t compete tonight but Alexa will still have a match tonight but no other details.

Dump break match people. Unless you are looking for some T&A shots this will not be match of the night by any stretch. Carmella has control to start and is working on Nikki’s neck.

They call Carmella a 2nd Generation wrestler but let’s be honest. Paul Van Dale was a jobber of the 80s and 90s. I got distracted at some point with life and family and missed the ending I think I heard a Rack Attack did Carmella in. Maybe she can get her boyfriend Big Cass to help her next time đŸ™‚

Winner: Nikki Bella

Heath Slater & Rhyno (c) vs. The Usos Tag Team Championship

Sadly, this is the real dump break match. I’m happy for Heath Slater but haven’t cared about Rhyno since the ECW days when he was last relevant.

Angry Uso’s? Fuck em. Not believable in the slightest. This is a REAL dump break people aka I’ll be back in 5-10 minutes after dropping the kids off at the pool.

Back from my dump break and Rhyno gets the hot tag, GORE. 1-2-3. It’s over. Glad I missed this sadly. Needed to poop sometime tonight so this was that moment.

Winners and STILL Smackdown Tag Team Champions: Heath Slated & Rhyno

Jack Swagger vs. Baron Corbin

I like Jack Swagger. There, I said it. He’s over with the fans with his We The People gimmick and as an American I’m all for this type of character. Baron Corbin on the other hand, I don’t understand who, what, or why he is here. Seems to just be fighting people with no real purpose or goals. He could be a LOT better if just given some direction.

Not the longest match. Eye poke gave Corbin the advantage to get his finisher off and pick up the win to avenge his defeat on Smackdown. Does this end the feud? Not a clue. This did nothing for either guy to be honest. Filler 100% all day.

Winner: Baron Corbin

The Miz (c) vs. Dolph Ziggler Intercontinental Championship* – Career versus Title

*If Dolph Ziggler loses he is out of the WWE.

Interesting, I expected this to be the end of the night but it is on now. Let’s see what takes place. The champion hits the ring first to peacock a little while the announcers do their promos. Dolph’s music hits the crowd is pretty hot for him.

The bell rings and here we go. Ziggler starts off fast. Good match they’re both dishing it out and taking it. Solid back and forth flow between The Miz and Ziggy. Miz gets an upper hand and starts showboating like usual. Then Miz start taunting Danial Bryan using his moves and doing a YES! chant.

Ziggler turning it around with a solid comeback. Chain moves, quick pinfall attempt but no victory. They’re both getting up to their feet with Ziggler up first. Another near pinfall. More back and forth ending in a Miz DDT but misses out on the pin. The battle rages on and this one is heating up both guys are putting on a show tonight.

The Miz has a Figure Four on Ziggler and held it for a LOOONNNGGG time before Dolph got to the ropes. He’s making a comeback but favoring the bad leg. Hits an exposed turnbuckle, then a slingshot powerbomb on Ziggler but he KICKS OUT!!

BOOM Zig Zag out of nowhere but The Miz kicks out. So close. He can barely walk but he is not giving up. He is Zigging UP! Sleeperhold on Miz. Crowd chanting for The Miz to tap out. Maryse sprays Ziggler in the face with hairspray. 1-2- HE KICKS OUT!!! This match is electrifying and the crowd is going nuts, props to both men however this turns out they are stealing the night so far. SUPERKICK! Ziggy is crawling over for the pin. 2 fat old guys from the Spirit Squad aka Dolphs shitty faction 10 years ago come in to interfere. BOOM Superkick to fat bald SS member. The Miz gets the jump and SKF. 1-2-KICKOUT. This is unreal, the crowd has goosebumps and the THIS IS AWESOME chants break out.

SUPERKICK Dolph Ziggler!! 1-2-3 and we have a new Intercontinental Champion DOLPH ZIGGLER!

Winner and now 5-time Intercontinental Champion: Dolph Ziggler

Becky Lynch (c) vs. Alexa Bliss Women’s Championship

Alexa comes out on the mic and starts owning Becky with no retort. She makes the usual call for competition and then the music hits and Naomi comes out to a crowd that does not seem to give even the slightest fuck.

Now we have…

Naomi vs. Alexa Bliss for no viable rhyme or reason.

Ding ding ding, here we go. Alexa taunting from the start. They just said Naomi’s look is inspired by the legendary movie Berry Gordy’s The Last Dragon to which I say BULLSHIT. It’s more like a neon rave whore power ranger. Want a real tribute to The Last Dragon watch this short I made years ago to tribute the actor who played Sho’ Nuff.

Back and forth. Crowd is bored and chanting ‘We Want Becky’ and I can’t blame them because this match is completely forgettable. Crowd has completely died now. You can hear a pin drop. David Otunga aka Miss New York’s bitch ass PUNK is just a nightmare on the mic, zero personality.

Naomi got a fast pin on Alexa Bliss shocking the #1 contender.

Winner: Naomi

Randy Orton vs. Bray Wyatt

Randy’s first feud since returning to the WWE is about to come to it’s PPV conclusion, or will this just be the start of an ongoing battle? Bray’s music hits and he meanders his way down to the ring with his fireflies. Randy’s music hits and he makes his way down to the ring.

Bell rings, here we go. They’re going back and forth inside and outside of the ring. It’s pretty even so far with both men getting in their shots. We’re making our way to the announce table. Some battling outside and Randy throws Bray back in the ring as they continue to fight. Bray postures for a moment and mocks Randy’s corner pose.

Trading shots over and over. They’re putting in work to each other but not a whole lot of high spot moments. Bray DDT to Randy on the apron but doesn’t get all of it. I appreciate the announcers say it when a move is a miss, trying to keep the kayfabe like it was an error he missed the full shot. I dig that.

Let’s Go Randy chants are starting as Bray Wyatt continues to maintain the majority of the control in this kick and punch fiesta. Bray missed the Senton off the middle rope and Randy gets up first. Back to trading simple moves. Crowd does not seem very into this nonstop kick punch kick punch like a new kid playing WWE2k17.

Powerslam. Finally a bigger move but Randy doesn’t get the pin. DDT from the outside but doesn’t get it and Bray makes a small offensive comeback. Bray starting to slap himself in the face. They trade reversals ending in Brays side slam move I can’t spell haha. Bray throws Randy outside of the ring.

Orton taking firm control on the outside and is just smashing Bray all over the place. Setting him up for the draping DDT and he got it. BOOM SHAKA LAKA. The crowd is hyping up and Randy is on the ground smashing the floor.

LIGHTS WENT OUT. LUKE HARPER IS BACK!

Standing in front of Randy, stunned. Bray gets Sister Abigail and the 1-2-3. The crowd is VERY PLEASED to see Mr. Harper return to the squared circle and he poses to the crowd and then pulls Bray up.

Winner: Bray Wyatt

Closing image of the night is Bray on his knees with Luke Harper standing behind him.

Great ending to the PPV, I like not knowing the EXACT time a show ends. The old 11pm on the dot days it was so predictable.

Match of the Night was CLEARLY Ziggler vs. The Miz

Sacramento was a pretty hot crowd overall. The Alexa match killed the crowd when Becky wasn’t there and then it took a while to get back. Also hard after such a hot match for the IC title most fans had to be exhausted.

Well that sums it up folks. Talking Smack is on live now and I hope everyone who took a read enjoyed the PPV tonight!! See you next for WWE Monday Night RAW!
